Joey is a cute little fella looking for a nice home with a little yard.  Joey is a nice senior fella who will do well in a low key home.  We were told that Joey was being given away on a free Facebook site and it was believed he was being abused .  A nice family worried about his situation took him to prevent any harm to him.  They planned on rehoming him but took him to animal control about a week later.  He was then placed in our rescue.

Joey is quite content too sleep the day away in his dog bed and wander around the yard for his daily adventure.  He is fine with other dogs or cats. He doesn't really interact with them but can easily coexist with respectful pets.  He lets you know when he needs to go potty which is a plus

Joey has one flaw which is that he needs to see his person.  When he doesn't he will begin to bark until he sees you.  He may seem at first like a dog with separation anxiety but we don't think that he he does have it.  however at times he acts like he might,  Once he sees you he scurries back to hin bed,  He doesn't need to be held or carried around or even in the same room with you.  He just wants to see you.  Her also exhibits the same behavior when he needs a potty break  You will get his signal for sure.

He will do well with a senior family that will understand his barking issue that stops as long as he sees you!  

Joey is fully vetted,  He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is heartworm negative,  His adoption donation is $400.00.   He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family,  Little Dogs can live to be 25 years old so he wants to be sure al for better or for worse!
